This project was inspired by and dedicated to my son Charlie.
Charlie is a very energetic and happy 9 month old baby boy. His favorite things to do are playing with his golden retriever, Bella, (drooling just as much as her ;)) and standing on his tippy toes while watching Spongebob.

In the light of his ways, I chose to create a one of a kind woodcut of Spongebob.
The process I used to create Spongebob was the reduction method (very long process if interested check out –Printmaking 101: Color Reduction Woodcut).

The outcome is unlike any other printing technique. The colors are vibrant, never dull and the ink makes for a thicker texture that produces a beautiful print.
